ABOUT WATERBERG KARATE DEVELOPMENT FUND NPC

Here at Waterberg Karate Development Fund NPC , we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2022, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon:

support, empowerment and progress.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Waterberg Karate Development Fund NPC emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

Waterberg Karate Development Fund NPC was founded by the parents of
karateka from Waterberg Karate Academy who were selected by JSKA SA (Japan
Shotokan Karate Association), part of the JSKA World Team.

The lifestyle of karate is much more than just your average "keeping fit" and
partaking in a competition here and there. For years therapists and school
educators have been recommending karate training as part of the
important developmental phase of children, where various skills such as
problem solving, hand-eye co-ordination, balance, building correct
posture, concentration improvement, goal orientation ,discipline, self control, respect
are just to name a few.

The team is currently involved in various projects, such as food stalls,
packing grocery bags at retail outlets, washing cars etc. but we realize
that these projects will not cover our estimated costs involved to travel
to Germany, accommodation as well as tournament entry fees (More info available on our Facebook
